At CCL Interiors, we are continually looking at new ways to improve how we manage our projects, communicate with our teams and document the work we deliver.
We have recently introduced Trimble ProjectSight across the business, alongside 360° camera technology, to create a more connected and efficient approach to project management, quality assurance and site documentation.
Bringing Project Information Together
ProjectSight provides our teams with one central platform for managing key project information. This includes drawings, site reports, QA documentation, checklists, issues and progress records, helping ensure that important information is organised and accessible throughout the project.
Having this information in one place allows our office and site teams to communicate more effectively and maintain a clear record of what is happening across our projects.
Capturing Progress in 360°
The introduction of 360° camera technology further enhances the way we document our work.
Our teams can capture detailed 360° visual records of areas of a project as work progresses. These records provide a valuable visual reference for our teams, helping us monitor progress, support our QA processes and maintain a clear record of completed works.
When combined with ProjectSight, the technology allows visual information to be connected with specific project locations, giving our teams greater visibility of what is happening on site.
Getting Our Teams Up to Speed
As part of the rollout, our team recently visited Central Quay to demonstrate the new technology and get the site team up to speed with ProjectSight and the 360° camera.
It was a great opportunity for the team to get hands-on with the system, understand how it will be used on site and see how the technology can support their day-to-day work.
