19 Dec Introducing Our “Pathway Back to Construction” Programme
At CCL Interiors, we are incredibly proud to introduce a new initiative that reflects our commitment not only to the construction industry, but to the communities we serve.
Our “Pathway Back to Construction” programme has been developed to support individuals nearing the end of their prison sentences, helping them build the skills, confidence, and direction needed to successfully transition into employment within the construction sector.
“This programme is about more than skills. It’s about giving people a genuine opportunity to rebuild their lives and see a future for themselves within our industry.”
– CCL Interiors Representative
Creating Real Opportunities
The construction industry offers meaningful, long-term career opportunities, and we believe it should be accessible to those who are ready to rebuild their lives. This programme is designed to bridge that gap, providing participants with a clear and structured pathway into the industry.
Through a combination of practical learning, guidance, and support, participants will gain:
- Industry-relevant skills
- Increased confidence and readiness for work
- A clear route into sustainable employment
“There is a real opportunity within construction to make a lasting difference, not just to buildings, but to people’s lives. This initiative is a powerful example of that.”

Programme Delivery at HMP Glenochil
The programme is currently being delivered at HMP Glenochil, where an initial group of 10 participants has begun a six-month journey. This pilot marks an important first step, with ambitions already in place to expand the programme across Scotland and potentially into other regions.
By starting at a local level, we can refine and strengthen the programme to ensure it delivers meaningful, lasting impact.
“Starting with a focused group allows us to build a strong foundation and ensure every participant gets the support they need to succeed.”
– Programme Lead
Collaboration That Makes a Difference
This initiative would not be possible without the support and collaboration of key partners. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Graham Building and Suzanne Stevenson for their invaluable contribution, as well as Danielle Greer, who has played a key role in delivering the programme.
Working together, we are creating opportunities that extend beyond construction helping to build stronger, more inclusive communities.
“Collaboration is key to driving real change. By working together, we can open doors that might otherwise remain closed.”
– Industry Partner
A Commitment to Second Chances
At CCL Interiors, we firmly believe that everyone deserves a second chance. The “Pathway Back to Construction” programme is a reflection of that belief in action.
We are fully committed to making this initiative a success, supporting individuals as they rebuild their futures, while also contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable construction industry.
“We’re not just building interiors. We’re helping to build futures.”
